U.S. Bank Center

History: The U.S. Bank Center, the tallest building in the state of Wisconsin, stands 42 stories tall and was designed by Skidmore, Owings, Merrill and Fitzhugh Scott. This building required the complete remediation of the sealants on the exterior façade, with over 70 miles of sealant removed and reinstalled during the project. In addition, special accommodations were taken to protect Peregrine Falcons that resided on the 42nd floor of the building.

Scope: To remove and reglaze windows and remediate all veneer panel joints.

Challenge: Accessing all areas of the building with significant equipment.

Result: Removal and replacement of more than 70 miles of sealant on the 42-story structures.
